Efforts to reduce our Carbon Footprint
Our business is
thus organised that
we continuously try to reduce
our carbon footprint even further.
A great first step in this process is that we prevent unnecessary shipments/movements of manufactured materials: all our hot tub parts that make up each unit are sourced within 50km’s from our manufacturing plant in Scandinavia.
Furthermore, we ship most efficiently each and every time which means a full 40ft container load of HotTubs (a minimal of 12 units) to Limassol Cyprus thus reducing unnecessary half-filled containers.
Albeit a quicker way, we have chosen not to use road transport due to its increased emissions per travelled distance.

Environment friendly with Thermowood®
Thermowood, also known as heat treated timber is a beautiful, sustainable timber material produced using chemical-free heat treatment.
Thermowood is created by heat treating Scandinavian softwood to temperatures ranging from 180 – 230° in special chamber kilns for up to 96 hours. Steam is used as a protective gas and helps to prevent the wood from splitting and becoming damaged during treatment.
As much durable as it is, a dab of protective oil once a year is highly adviseble to keep the wood in its best possible condition for years to enjoy.
100% Ecological Briquettes
Despite that we offer our units with a firewood heater, we advise to use Briquettes to heat up the hot tubs instead.
The main advantage is that we emphasize
eliminating waste and pollution, circulate products and materials (at their highest value), and regenerate nature.
By means of using these briquettes (made up from 70% hardwood and 30% pine sawdust) we re-use the waste produced when manufacturing our units.
