Heating Systems
Both our Hot Tubs and Barrel Sauna's have various heating system options: wood-fired and/or electrical heating.
Wood-fired (standard) Hot Tub
All our hot tubs are standard fitted out with a wood-fired heater and this feature makes them unique. If you own a plot of land anywhere in Cyprus and electricity is not available then our hot tubs are ideal for these circumstances.
Electric-heated / Hybrid (optional) Hot Tub
If electricity is available, you can opt for our integrated electric heater to pre-heat your hot tub by turning it on while physically being on site. Additionally, if you have a 4G/5G router with internet available you can use our app to switch the unit on from the comfort of your home and prior your arrival at your weekend getaway.
Needless to say that our system comes with all the smart functions you can imagine such as timer functionality, present temperature range to keep it heated at, Alexa and/or Google home integration and much more.
Electric-heated (standard) barrel sauna
Our barrel sauna’s are standard fitted with an 6 kW electrical heater to warm up and keep it at a steady temperature. The initial heat up of the sauna takes up about 30 to 60 minutes.
For this unit a standard electrical connection of 3-phase / 380 – 440 Volt is needed. A single phase connection is possible on a 25 Amp fused line.
If your sauna has electric heating as the main heating source then an optional transparent lexan/acrylic rear glass is possible. Timer pre-heat functionality is standard on our electric heater. On top of that we offer WiFi functionality at an additional cost.
Welcome
Wood-burning sauna heater (optional)
A wood-fired sauna heating system can be installed to replace the 6 kW electrical heater. The heating process with a wood-fired sauna burner takes about 30 to 60 minutes to reach a temperature between 80 or 90 degrees Celsius and offers a stand alone / off grid option for the ultimate outdoor experience. In order to maximize your sauna therapy you can add an aromatherapy oil like eucalyptus or peppermint to your burner.
All our barrel sauna’s have standard 30 kg of sauna stones included as they are an essential component of your wellness experience. It is important to use sauna stones as regular stones might release harmful fumes when heated as they can contain impurities or chemicals. A bucket and ladles? are essential for adding water to the sauna stones in order to create steam.
In terms of heating systems for a sauna you have the following options:
· Electrical-heated sauna or
· Wood-fired heating system.
